Victor Sicard has collaborated with Holly Pester and Matthew Mendez to create Wow and Flutter.
Victor Sicard was born in La Rochelle, France, 1987. He arrived in London in 2007 as a student at the Guildhall school of Music and Drama and he has recently been accepted at the opera course of the same school. In France he studied with Yves Sotin and got his 1st prize of singing at the Conservatoire of Angers. He also got a degree of Musicology at the University François Rabelais in Tours and was awarded by the Art Institute of France to study Opera. He is currently studying with David Pollard. His operatic performances as a baritone soloist include Papageno (Magic Flute, Mozart), Thierry and the 1st comissaire (Dialogue des Carmélites, Poulenc) Antonio and Il Conte d’Almaviva (le Nozze di Figaro,Mozart), Le Comte (Chérubin, Massenet). He also sang as a soloist several sacred pieces such as The German Requiem by Brahms, Fauré’s Requiem, Mozart’s Requiem, Theresa and Nelson masses by Haydn, Mass in Aflat Major by Schubert, La Missa Gallica by Lallement, the Dixit Dominus by Vivaldi, The St John’s Passion by Bach and The Belshazzar’s Feast by Walton.
He is booked for the Magnificat in D by Bach in Southampton. With his recital partner, he will also sing in Narbonne and in a Festival near Barcelona this summer.
