Albert Pellicier has collaborated with Francisco Coll Garcia and Iria Perestrelo to create Óxido - First Repetition.

Albert Pellicer is a poet and a free-lance journalist. He has a BA in Creative Writing from Antioch University, USA and received an MA in Poetic Practice at the Royal Holloway University of London. He is currently doing a practice-led PhD at Birkbeck University, researching timbre as an intrinsic element of contemporary poetics.

In 2005 he took part in the ‘London ePoetry Festival’ and in the ‘Festival de Polipoesia’ in Barcelona. In 2006 his vidoepoetry was ‘Word of Mouth’ was screened at the II International Festival Video Poetry Buenos Aires, Argentina and in Aix-En Provence, France. In 2007, the 3D poem ‘Para Graph’ was displayed as part of ‘Public Page’ - an exhibition of visual text in association with poetry and public language organized by Dartington College. He is also involved in Creative Partnerships promoting poetical activity.

His work is a research into the poetics of space and the in-betweeness of textual and sonic expression. His approach to poetry making is informed by the weaving of sound and narratives as well as bearing a deep appreciation for indigenous values. He is co-director of Native Spirit Foundation, promoting indigenous cultures and runs ‘Our Voices Rising’ www.ourvoicesrising.org, a project that partakes of wind as a natural element to work with text and sound.
