Jon Clay collaborated with Matthew Lee Knowles to create Dawning: Blue, Black, Red.

My name is Jon Clay and when I was involved in Voiceworks I was studying for PhD in contemporary poetry at Birkbeck College; a revised version of my thesis is soon to be published as a book, published by Continuum, entitled Sensation, Contemporary Poetry and Deleuze. I have also since had a chapbook published by Veer Books entitled Here 1-24, the first part of an ongoing project. Matthew Lee Knowles, the composer with whom I worked on Voiceworks, is setting Here as I write it; he has currently set the first ten poems, which have so far been performed once in late 2009.

I currently teach English at Richmond-upon-Thames College.
