Ollie Evans is a poet, performer and puppeteer from London. For the past four years he has been making experimental ventriloquist theatre with his group, Dummy Company. In 2010 he started writing poetry dedicated to the intralingual noises found in speaking and translating. His first booklet, Stutter Studies has just been published by Department Press. The Comedy, a series of poems after Dante’s Divinna Commedia, is also due early next year through Holdfire Press. This year he started a PhD at Birkbeck on ‘The Performance of Finnegans Wake’.
