Daniel Barrow is a poet and critic. His poetry has appeared in Iota and The Cadaverine, and was included in The Salt Book of Younger Poets (Salt, 2011). He has written on music, books, cinema and visual art for The Wire, Plan B, The Quietus, New Statesman and others; he was shortlisted for Writer of Year in the Guardian Student Media Awards 2010, and Critic of the Year in 2011. Following a BA in English Literature and Creative Writing at the University of Warwick, he is studying for an MA in Contemporary Literature and Culture at Birkbeck, University of London.
