Marta Lozano Molano was born in Cáceres, Spain in 1985. She studied piano and composition at the Professional Conservatory Hermanos Berzosa of Cáceres and singing at the Professional Conservatory Francisco Escudero of San Sebastián. In 2010 she finished her degree in composition at the Higher School of Music of the Basque Country “Musikene” of San Sebastián, where she studied with Gabriel Erkoreka, Stefano Scarani and Christophe Havel. In 2010 she became student at Guildhall School of Music and Drama to study composition with Paul Newland.

As a pianist she took part in several chamber music series and intuitive recordings of piano music for Wesleyan University (USA). As a singer, as well as solo concerts, she participated as a choralist in various groups among which can be mentioned the Treble Voices Choir of the Philiharmonic Orchestra of Gran Canaria, University of Extremadura Choir (with whom she won in 2003 the First International Prize "Voce in the Sole" of Naples, Italy), Orchestra of Extremadura or Orchestra of Radio Televisión Española (ORTVE). Since 2006, she has worked as a singer in the Orchestra of Extremadura Chorus (Spain) and as of 2010 she is member of the London Symphony Chorus.

Furthermore she received lessons from Michael Finnissi, Jesús Rueda, Francisco Kröpfl, José Manuel López López, Frédéric Durieux, Simon Holt, Alberto Posadas and Krzysztof Penderecki.

Marta Lozano Molano’s works have been performed on the Sacred Music Cycle of Villanueva de la Serena and Ciudad Real, in Barcelona, the II Choral Workshop infant-juvenile “Arte vocal”, Festival of Dance of Cáceres, EUROFOLK-J folk music contest of Granada, the final concerts of Musikene course in San Sebastian, the Chamber Music Cycle of the Provincial Museum of Cáceres, the Training Conferences for treble voices from the Contemp-coralia Project of Badajoz, the Electronic Music Festival “Sinkro” from Vitoria, the Music Hall of Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and the Barbican, City of London Festival, etc.

She took part as a guest composer-listener in the 2009 meeting of the National Youth Orchestra of Spain (JONDE). She also gave a lecture cycle with Krzystztof Penderecki on his own music in collaboration with the Symphonic Orchestra of Euskadi, in the Kursaal Auditorium in San Sebastián.

She is now studying for a Guildhall Artist Master in composition with Paul Newland at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, singing at London Symphony Chorus and conducting Red and Green Choir.
